                                The KMC Cup p/b Rotor USA is no more.  


                         June 28 & 29 US Cup Staff Needs Letter is here.

It is being replaced by the US Cup - Colorado Springs and is the final race in the four race USA Cycling US Cup presented by the Sho-Air Cycling Group series.  The Series will feature a cash prize list of nearly $81,000 for the Elite (Pro) Men and Women.

The race will be held June 28 & 29, 2014 in the City of Colorado Springs, CO.  The

race location will be at the Pulpit Rock Open Space property which is owned by the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs (UCCS) and the City of Colorado Springs.

While not a Sand Creek Sports, Inc. race the UCI C1 Pro XCT USA Cycling US Cup

p/b Sho-Air Cycling Group will be held June 28 and 29  The Elite Men and Women

will be racing for a nearly $10,000 cash prize list .  All races on this weekend except the short track races on Sunday for the Elites will also be USA Cycling's Colorado State Cross Country (XCO) Championship races.  This is a big one! 

Andy Bohlmann of Sand Creek Sports Inc. will be the race Venue/Operations Manager.  The incredible staff from last year's State Championship KMC CLassic XC race will also onsite.

The race will have Elite Men and Women UCI races on Saturday and short track racing on Sunday.  Both days will feature Amateur races.

It will again be a USA Cycling American Mountain Bike Challenge (AMBC) race as well as an Alison Dunlap Junior Race Series event.

This page is the Official page for all 2013 KMC Classic p/b Rotor USA race information.   Short updates will be on the Sand Creek Sports Face Book page.


                             Our June 16th KMC Classic p/d by Rotor USA race was:

       1.  The Colorado Men's & Women's (Master, Senior and Junior) USA Cycling State

             Championship Cross Country Race.  This is a National Championship Qualification

             Race.  Races for Men's and Women's classes/categories.

       2.   A USA Cycling American Mountain Bike Challenge race for Men and Women.

              This is a National Championship Qualification Race.     AMBC 2013 Calendar

       3.   An Alison Dunlap Junior Race Series event for Junior Men and Women.  

       4.   The USA Cycling Rocky Mountain Talent ID Race   Link 

       5.   A KMC Chain Podium Payback Program Race

            From USA Cycling:  "The American Mountain Bike Challenge (AMBC) series was created

            in 1996 to recognize, support, and provide top-level regional racing opportunities for

            racers of all abilities. AMBC competitions are excellent places for riders to try the racing

            scene for the first time or seasoned athletes to test their skills against their fellow racers."


            In 2013, the Alison Dunlap Junior Race Series (ADJRS) will be combined with the AMBC,

            allowing for increased junior development opportunities across the country.  These races

            can qualify riders to attend USA Cycling's Talent ID Camps.


             And, USA Cycling's Rocky Mountain Talent ID Camp is here and will be held June 14-19

             in Colorado Springs. This Camp will race at our June 16th KMC Classic race.
