3. A USA Cycling senior staff (CEO) deposition is here for you to read. Make sure to read page 77
starting at line 11. This deposition tells, in part, how the USAC came about through not so straight
forward means. Deposition is dated August 23, 2001. A "must read."
4. "Tour de Farce" by Matt Smith, San Francisco Weekly, September, 2005
A "Curious financial arrangement and who really works for whom." Note: The yellow highlights came
with the original article when Googled and were not added.
From "Tour de Farce" by Matt Smith: "Johnson, the widely quoted USA Cycling official, appears to
suffer from a serious conflict of interest between his organization's role as a doping cop and his
personal, institutional, and financial ties to the diversified business world surrounding Lance
Armstrong. Financier Weisel is Armstrong's longtime patron, employer, investment manager, and
friend. Weisel is also Johnson's longtime patron and friend and the founder of a nonprofit entity that
employs him."
A May, 2011 follow-up article by Matt Smith, "Lance Armstrong Doping Story Points to S.F.
Company."
5. "Paper Tigers" by Les Earnest "The United States Cycling Federation has a longer history of
voting fraud than most Third World countries."

Cancellation of our June 18, 2011 UCI Pro XCT Race
For reasons why Sand Creek Sports cancelled its June 18th, 2011 UCI Pro XCT race at Palmer Park you must go here. Some links may not work.
Links that do work: 1. Original cyclingnews.com interview on February 15, 2011
2. Same cyclingnews.com interview but with USAC comments added
on February 17th. Notice that USAC staff says UCI Inscription letter was
sent April 29th.
3. Sand Creek Sports' Venue Director's letter to Race Director and copied to USA
Cycling's CEO. Full of facts!
4. Actual UCI Inscription letter sent by that same USAC staff person
showing June 21st date stamp! This was confirmed by other Pro XCT
race organizers!
Now, the UCI wants a 185 EUR cancellation fee and is threatening, "exclusion, suspension and other!" Fee would be wired to a Swiss bank account...
Our July 9-11, 2010 UCI Chief Commissaire's Report...nearly perfect! This race was a UCI C2 Pro XCT 3-day stage race with a $10,000 cash prize list.
And of course, Sand Creek Sports was never contacted about doing a 2012 Pro XCT race in Colorado Springs. We do not and cannot support this event.
FYI...the 2011 UCI Cross Country Rankings show for the Elite Men, 1st place has 2,432 points with the top US rider in 14th with 985 pts and the next US rider in 36th with 609 points. The number one country has 4,772 points to 2,130 for the US in 8th place.
The top Elite Woman has 2,070 points to the top US Women in 16th place with 956 points followed by 936 points for the next US Women in 17th place. Top Nation has 4,155 points to the US in 7th with 2,691 points.
The Pro XCT series helps our riders how?
